La sua arte:
Il suo lavoro è l'espressione di una tradizione artigiana
fiorentina risalente al Rinascimento.
Il legno è tornito e intagliato a mano come forgiata a mano è
la struttura in ferro battuto. Le decorazioni sono il
risultato di molti passaggi di lavorazione con l'uso di una
tecnica analoga a quella usata dai maestri pittori del
cinquecento. I vetri, basati su suoi disegni, sono soffiati e
lavorati da abili mastri vetrai muranesi.
Il risultato di questo insieme è una piccola e singola opera
d'arte, nessun pezzo è in realtà identico ad un altro e questo
è il pregio, che acquista valore con il passare del tempo.
His craftsmanship:
His work is the result of traditional Florentine craftsmanship
dating back to the Renaissance.
The wood is well-turned and carved, and the structure in
wrought iron is completely handmade. The ornaments are the
outcome of a lot of processing achieved through the use of a
technique similar to the one employed by master painters of
the XVI century. The glass, based on his drawings, is blown
and wrought by very skilled glass-makers from Murano.
The result of this unit is a little work of art: no item is,
as a matter of fact, identical to any other, being that its
real value, and becoming ever more valuable with the passing
of time.
